Outer diameter:
Measure as accurately as possible, the outside diameter of the end cap (making sure you measure at the widest point).

Filter Length:
Measure the overall length of the cartridge including the end caps. Do not include any handles, attachments, etc.

All measurements are taken from the outside of the filter.

Hole (if applicable):
Measure the centre hole as accurately as possible.

How to Install Your Vortex Spa Filter Camlock Conversion Adapters

Estimated Time: 2-3 minutes per adapter

Step-by-Step Installation Guide:

- Ensure your spa is off and safe to work on.

- Unscrew and remove your old threaded filter from the filter housing.

- Briefly inspect the base of the filter housing for any debris.

- Attach the Adapter to the New Camlock Filter:

- Take one of your new Camlock filters (not included).

- Locate the flat, male threaded end of the adapter.

- Screw this flat, male threaded end of the adapter into the bottom of your new Camlock filter.

- Hand-tighten securely. You can use a flathead screwdriver in the slot on the adapter for extra leverage if needed, but do not overtighten.

- Insert the Filter & Adapter Assembly into the Spa.

Once installed, replacing your Camlock filters in the future will be even quicker! You'll simply unscrew the filter from the adapter, leaving the adapter in the spa's housing. Then, screw your new Camlock filter directly into the installed adapter.
