Construction:
- 100 to 70 mm taper to prevent ponding on the surface of the cover. The thickest cover on the market!
- 100% virgin resin Expanded PolyStyrene(EPS) foam cores .
- Marine Grade top vinyl reinforce the function of Waterproof, Anti-Mildew, Moistureproof, UVInhibitors, Cold cracking resistance, Abrasion resistance.
- The bottom vinyl: made of pvc, resistant to mildew, cold cracking, abrasion.
- Gauge Aluminum C-Channel: Lighter, extra strength and corrosion proof, ensuring structural integrity for the life of cover.
- Thread: Double stitched with high grade bonded polyester, UV resistance.
- Heat sealed vapor shield: PE 6 mil plastic.
- Tear-resistant reinforced nylon handles for easy opening and closing.
- Four tie-down straps with Security Childproof Locks.
- Perimeter skirt 11.5cm, helps keep heat in and Insulate dust and dirt.
- Corrosion Proof Nylon Zipper: Large #8 zipper with protective flap will not be corroded.
- The hinge: 4 layer, quadruple reinforced hinge to help this most-worked part.
- The heat stopper pads eliminates heat loss.

Applies for a period of 36 months for the vinyl outer and 12 months for the polystyrene inner billets. The warranty is from the date of purchase.
Cover care
* avoid excessive exposure to chemicals
* remove cover during shock dosing, return when levels are normal again
* only clean the cover using luke warm and mildly soapy water then rinse with fresh water
* always lift and carry the cover when moving, never drag the cover
* during periods of high wind ensure the cover is locked or store out of the wind
* never use chemical cleaners or solvents on the cover
* never expose the cover to chemical cleaning solutions commonly used to wash the exterior of houses
* be aware that chemical cleaning solutions can drift a distance. store the cover safely away during exterior house cleans
* extend the life of the cover by using a cover lifter

Will a spa cover reduce my spas power use?
Spa pool hard covers have a thermal resistance (R) value of 2.28 and virtually eliminate evaporation. This enables hard covers to save up to 70% of the pool heating energy requirements.
Are the Spa Store spa hardcovers safe?
Spa Store spa covers are designed to prevent a small child accessing the pool. This only works if the locking devices are used.
What sized spas can be covered with a spa hardcover?
Most spas are under 2400mm x 2400mm square and are simple to cover. Larger covers can be made but may need modifications. Click here or call us to discuss further.
Are there any spa shapes that can't be covered?

Does a spa hardcover exempt us from the legal requirements to fence?
Your local council is required by law to enforce the fencing of swimming pools act. All councils currently have different interpretations of the act so you will need to contact them directly to determine requirements in your area.
Does compliance to N.Z. safety standard NZ8500:2006 exempt us from the legal requirements to fence?
This is the intention but it hasn't happened yet. The standard was introduced in December 2006 and needs to be adopted by individual councils.
