First-Time User Guide

Follow these three steps to ensure your spa water is pristine and perfectly balanced.

Step 1: Place the Tablet

• Simply place the blue simplesilver™ tablet anywhere in your spa pool water. It must remain fully immersed for the entire 12-month period.
• Important: If you were previously using bromine, you must drain and refill your spa before starting. simplesilver™ is not compatible with bromine.

Step 2: Set Up Your Spa (and Wait)

• Set your spa's filter circulation pump to run daily. It is critical that it circulates 100,000 litres of water per day to release the correct amount of minerals.
• Ensure all jet heads and water features are open.
• Do not use your spa for the next 7 days. This initial period is essential for the minerals to properly balance the water.

Step 3: Final Clean & Enjoy

• At the end of the 7-day period, remove your filters and clean them thoroughly with a proper filter cleaning solution.
• Let the filters dry completely before reinstalling them.
• Your spa water should now be crystal clear and odourless. If it is, you are ready to enjoy your spa!

Ongoing Maintenance

Clean Your Filters Every Two Weeks
To keep your water perfect, you must clean your filters with a filter cleaning solution at least every two weeks. Water alone is not effective. This is the most important step for maintaining your water quality.

Repeat User Guide (Annual Replacement)

• Before installing your new tablet, we recommend you change the water and clean the spa pool.
• Once refilled, place the new simplesilver™ tablet in the water.
• Wait 5 days before using the spa to allow the water to balance.
• Continue with your regular filter cleaning schedule.

What is simplesilver™?
simplesilver™ is an all-in-one, mineral-based spa water treatment that automatically balances your water's pH, alkalinity, and bacteria levels for 12 months. It's a simple, set-and-forget alternative to traditional spa chemicals.

Under normal use, no. simplesilver™ is designed to manage your spa's water balance on its own. However, chlorine can be used for a quick clean-up after very heavy spa use. Note: Bromine is NOT compatible with simplesilver™.

How will it affect my skin and hair?

What should the water look and smell like?
When using simplesilver™, your spa water should always be crystal clear and completely odourless. If your water becomes cloudy or develops an odour, it's a sign that something needs attention, usually your filters.

How do I use simplesilver™?
Just place the tablet anywhere in your spa water, ensure your filters are clean, and make sure your filter pump is set to run for the correct duration each day.

What maintenance is required?
The most vital task is to clean your filters with a filter cleaning solution at least every two weeks. A clean filter is essential for simplesilver™ to work effectively. It's also a good idea to wipe down the inside of the filter housing when you clean them.

What happens if I go on holiday?
Just leave it! As long as your filter pump continues to run as normal, simplesilver™ will keep the water balanced and ready for your return. You can even turn the heater off to save power.
