Directions for use
Dosage
100ml per 1,000 litres of water. (See below for dosage examples)
Single dose lasts up to 6 weeks under ideal conditions.
For 1,000 litres of water - 100ml
For 1,100 litres of water - 110ml
For 1,200 litres of water - 120ml
For 1,300 litres of water - 130ml
For 1,400 litres of water - 140ml
For 1,500 litres of water - 150ml etc.
Directions - Start Up Procedure
1. Clean spa filters, pipes and spa surfaces.
2. Add fresh water and test.
3. Balance water in this order: Hardness (to spa manufacturer’s requirements), total alkalinity (80 – 120ppm) then pH (7.4 – 7.6).
4. Once in balance, add Spa Alchemy™ (100ml/1,000L) and run spa jets for 20 minutes.
Directions - On Going Maintenance
5. Clean spa filters weekly.
6. Test water regularly (as per spa manufacturer’s requirements). If water is out of balance repeat Step 3.
7. Shock treat your spa water at least weekly with chlorine, bromine or peroxide based sanitisers.
8. Dose with Spa Alchemy™ (100ml/1,000L) every 4 – 6 weeks and run spa jets for 20 minutes.
9. Change water as per spa manufacturer’s requirements.

How do I use Spa Alchemy water treatment in my spa?
Shake well before use. Add 100ml per 1,000 litres of water every 4 - 6 weeks and run the spa jets for 20 minutes to circulate the product. Your spa is ready to be enjoyed.
How soon after using Spa Alchemy water treatment can I start using my spa pool?
Spa Alchemy water treatment does not contain any harsh or caustic chemicals, nor does it need you to wait for days before using your spa. Just pour in the correct dose, run your circulation pump for 20 minutes and you can jump in and enjoy your spa pool.
Please note, if you are dosing your spa with other chemicals at the same time, the longest wait time must be followed.
How often do I need to dose my spa with Spa Alchemy water treatment?
For regular use, we recommend dosing your spa every 4 weeks. For occasional use, you can dose it every 6 weeks.
Will using Spa Alchemy water treatment save me time and effort maintaining my spa pool?
Absolutely! Spa Alchemy water treatment is designed specifically for ease of use and convenience. It keeps your spa clean, clear and in balance.
Just test your water as per the spa manufacturer’s instructions and see how little you will have to do to maintain control of your spa water.
Does my pump need any additional operation for Spa Alchemy water treatment to be effective?
No, Spa Alchemy water treatment does not require any additional pump circulation to work. Follow your spa manufacturer’s instructions as usual.
Is Spa Alchemy water treatment environmentally friendly?
Yes. Spa Alchemy water treatment is biodegradable, natural and sustainable. It is also non-caustic, chlorine, phosphate and soap free.
Do I need to refill my spa before using Spa Alchemy water treatment?
Spa Alchemy water treatment will perform its magic in any clean spa. However, for best results, we recommend starting with a thorough pipe, filter and surface clean before refilling with new water. Then test and balance your water in the order set out in Step 3 of the Start Up Procedure in the Directions.

What if my spa has not been used for a long time or my water is quite dirty?
If your spa or water looks dirty, we strongly recommend starting with a thorough spa surface, pipe and filter clean, and refilling with new water before following the Start Up Procedure.

How important is changing the spa pool water periodically?
To ensure consistent water quality, periodically drain and clean your spa in line with your manufacturer’s recommendations.

What happens when I go on holiday or the spa pool has not been used for long periods?
Your spa water should stay clean and clear as long as you keep dosing the spa every 6 weeks. If you are away for longer or the spa doesn’t look clean, follow the usual process of draining and cleaning the spa surface, pipes and filters before refilling and restarting use of Spa Alchemy water treatment as per the Start Up directions.
Can I add a water fragrance to the spas water with Spa Alchemy water treatment?
Certain foreign chemicals may adversely affect the balance of the water so it is best to use natural fragrances.
Troubleshooting
Why did my water lose clarity when I dosed it with Spa Alchemy water treatment?
When dosing your spa with Spa Alchemy, you may find your water gets slightly cloudy or foams up in some cases. This is Spa Alchemy removing all the hidden contaminants from your water, pipes and filters and should clear up within 3 days. If problem persists, please contact your retailer for further advice.
What should I do if my spa water becomes less clear?
As Spa Alchemy water treatment initially starts to work, it can take up to 3 days to clear up your water, pipes and spa surfaces of hidden contaminants. However if your spa has heavy usage, long exposure to direct sunlight, is contaminated with lotions or creams, or has any sign of decreased water clarity for longer than 3 days, shock dosing with chlorine or equivalent sanitiser should help. Thoroughly cleaning your filters more frequently should also help remove contaminants from your water and speed up the process.
As every spa and it's usage can differ, regular testing of your spa's water balance is important.
Additional tips for best results
Regularly clean the filters thoroughly with a filter cleaner and rinse well to remove any residue. You could also use some pipe and surface cleaner to clean the inside surfaces and pipes of your spa. A drain and refill after thorough cleaning will also reset your spa water chemistry and allow Spa Alchemy water treatment to do its job better. Refer to Start Up Procedure under Directions for details instructions.
CAUTION
Undiluted formula can be an irritant. Avoid eye contact. Do not drink. Do not inhale mist or vapour. Always use as directed.
First aid
Eyes: In case of contact with undiluted formula, flush with cool water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, call a physician.
Ingestion: Drink cool water and call a physician. Do not induce vomiting.
