This is not the operational clearance. We have installed these with less than 660mm of clearance.  Approximately 200mm of the lifters foot protrudes from the base of the spa once it is installed. In low clearance situations, the foot can be slid in from the side of the spa which allows installation with less than the 26 inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn most instances, you will need to empty your spa in order to install this lifter because the feet slide under the spa.
